This full-time, permanent role offers the chance to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and hands-on lessons that help students develop life skills in cooking, nutrition, and food science. Key Responsibilities

• Teach Food Technology across KS3 and KS4

• Deliver engaging, safe, and practical lessons on cookery, nutrition, and food safety

• Promote healthy lifestyles and practical independence

• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback

• Support extra-curricular activities related to food and wellbeing

• Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development

Qualifications and Experience

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level

• Strong understanding of nutrition, food hygiene, and lesson safety

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills

• ECTs welcome – full mentoring and induction provided

• A passion for hands-on teaching and inclusive learning
