Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality French and Spanish lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

  • Assess student progress and adapt lessons to meet diverse learning needs

  • Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment

  • Support pupils in developing confidence in spoken and written language

  • Work collaboratively within a supportive MFL department

  • Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities

  • Engage in regular CPD and school-wide initiatives

Qualifications and Experience

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Degree in French, Spanish, or a related subject

  • Experience teaching both languages up to KS4

  • A passion for language teaching and cross-cultural education

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
